It seems Wayne and Coleen Rooney are more down to earth than their jet-set lifestyle lets on.

The couple are said to be interested in buying a caravan at Presthaven Beach Resort in North Wales after having spent a happy few days enjoying the area.

The Liverpudlian couple married in 2008 and have two sons, Kai and Klay, together.

Coleen took to Twitter to respond to reports that the couple had already invested in one of the holiday favourites, saying: "Yes I stayed in a caravan with friends and all the kids on Saturday night!! We had a fantastic time. I haven't bought one but will think of getting one cause my kids loved it!!"

The family are thought to have visited Presthaven a number of times and has previously said: "I grew up going to holiday camps, so it was no change for me," the Mirror reports.

Coleen also recently took the boys to the popular holiday camp, Butlins.

She posted on Twitter: "Had a great weekend so far at Butlins, the kids have loved it! Kai's excited for Diversity to come on and Klays enjoying his Magnum!"

It's thought that one of the static homes at the Presthaven resort would cost in the region of £25,000, which shouldn't be an issue for the couple considering Wayne Rooney signed a contract to earn an eye watering £300,000 a week in 2014.

The couple are clearly keen on travel as they amassed a total of eight holidays in 2014, including Barbados, Dubai and Brazil.
