Another reason not to delay your life insurance purchase

Taxing businesses is a tricky, err...business, because any costs incurred by companies due to a change in the rules goes straight into the laps of the consumer. Unfortunately that is exactly what is about to happen with life insurance.

Much has been written about the impact gender neutral pricing, which will be required from 21 December following a European Court ruling that says insurance companies cannot use a person's gender to price their insurance policies. While this is expected to push up costs from motor insurance to annuities, there is another less known change that will also push up the price of life insurance.
