Kicking off on March 11 at Earls Court in London, the show is in its 103rd year and promises to be bigger and better than ever, with celebrities and experts on hand to help (not to mention more than 600 exhibitors just dying to showcase their products).

Here are just a few of the highlights expected to lure the crowds come spring.

For those of you looking to make a few changes around the home, a trip to the "How To" theatre will provide invaluable advice - from DIY to gardens and exterior design, live demonstrations and seminars from experts and celebrities will offer practical solutions as well as new ideas to inspire you.

Similarly, the Dulux Let's Colour Studio offers the chance to try out new decorating innovations, find the perfect colour combination and chat to the Dulux experts for a some personalised colour and design advice.

If it's your garden that could do with a facelift, Dairmuid Gavin may offer the inspiration you need. The green-fingered TV presenter will be on hand to offer solutions according to the space you have available as well as prepare you for summer with a few springtime tips. And if that's not enough, this year the Show Gardens can be seen outside the main entrance to show you how the pros do things.

Elsewhere there's a glimpse at the technology and design of years to come with the Ideal Home of the Future. This sneak peak into the tech of tomorrow will showcase the products expected to become must-haves in the homes of five, 10 or 20 years time.

The Show Homes Village is also worth a visit - this year three full-scale model houses will be on show, revealing a transformed two-up two-down as well as two eco-friendly examples for those interested in going seriously green.

But of course the Ideal Home Show isn't just about DIY and housebuilding. Thanks to Ideal Food & Housewares, keen cooks can get advice on all manner of culinary matters, such as cooking on a budget and growing your own veg, and a host of celebrity chefs including Aldo Zilli, Ed Baines and Gennaro Contaldo will be showing off their skills.

Meanwhile, if you would prefer to sample the food rather than cook it, the Gregg Wallace Café will get your mouth watering with a traditional, locally sourced menu of British home cooking.

And if it all gets too much, the ladies among you can relax with a spot of pampering at the Beauty Bar or take in the Ideal Woman Catwalk show for a look at the latest in fashion and beauty.
