While I’m admittedly devastated that summer is drawing to a close soon, the light at the end of the tunnel keeping me going is all of the late summer sales going on right now. The one that’s got me the most excited thus far is, without a doubt, Dermstore’s Anniversary sale.

The annual sale event means you can score up to 25 percent off hundreds of luxe and premium skincare, makeup, hair care, and beauty products from some of the most coveted brands in the industry (that very, very rarely get discounted), like Dr. Dennis Gross, cult favorite french pharmacy brand, Embryolisse, clinical-froward brands like Obagi and MDSolarSciences, and the list goes on. Plus, Dermstore is also offering two free gifts with purchases over $200—just use the code CHEERS at checkout to redeem.

Dermstore does offer a few smaller-scale deals events throughout the year, but based on my research (and scouring pretty much pages of discounted products), my understanding is that this is Dermstore’s best sale of the year next to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In other words, if you’ve been looking to revamp your skincare lineup for fall or try out a new pricey label without the splurge resulting in instant buyer’s remorse, now’s a good time to take the plunge. Dermstore’s Anniversary Sale runs through Aug. 18, but make sure to shop soon before stock sells out. Ready, set, shop!

NuFace Trinity Facial Toning Device Down from $220

This top-rated beauty device is powered by microcurrent technology, which helps to sculpt, lift, and smooth out fine lines with regular use. I use my NuFace device before events for an instantly chiseled effect when I feel puffy and it works wonders.

“I immediately saw results the first time I used my NuFace, and I Since I started using it regularly, I get so many compliments on my skin. It looks younger, tighter, cleaner, and more moisturized. I use it on clean skin fresh out of the shower,” says one reviewer.

Oribe Dry Texturizing SprayDown from $48

If you’re going to treat yourself to one styling product, this is the one to go with. The beloved Dry Texture spray not only smells like a slice of heaven, but it also mops away excess oil, adds volume and texture without drying your strands, and makes any hairstyle look effortless and sexy without having to do much. This stuff is sex hair in a bottle, and I couldn’t really recommend it more.

“I've gone through a couple of cans of this texturizing spray at this point - I love it! This gives my fine hair the volume that I've always struggled to achieve prior to this find. It smells amazing, looks even better, and is so easy to use,” one Dermstore shopper says in a review.

Kevyn Aucoin Foundation BalmDown from $52

It comes as no surprise that Kevyn Aucoin’s makeup formulas (especially his complexion offerings) are some of my favorite formulas of all time. After all, the late makeup artist is one of the beauty industry’s biggest icons. This foundation balm isn’t the dewy, barely-there formula you may expect—and that’s what I love about it. The full-coverage foundation dries down to a velvet matte finish for a poreless look that lasts for hours. I’m not the only one who loves it, either.

“Doesn't settle in fine lines and easily covers redness. Very smooth texture feeling and light but provides complete coverage. [The] only foundation I have found that I can actually cover the under eye bags and wrinkles without accentuating them,” one reviewer says.

Embryolisse Embryolisse Lait Creme ConcentreDown from $28

If you ask me (and countless makeup artists, for that matter), this cult-favorite French pharmacy moisturizer is the best multi-use beauty product of all time. The hydrating creme doubles as a skin-blurring primer, natural highlighter, and makeup remover. It’s the one beauty product I always find myself going back to, and I’m not the only one.

“I discovered this product when getting my make-up done for family photos. The makeup artist had it in her kit. I have been using this as my daytime moisturizer over top of my Hyaluronic serum. I previously used both a makeup primer and moisturizer... the Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre provides priming and moisture in one step!” one reviewer said.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel (60)Down from $150

When it comes to everyday exfoliating pads, Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads are pretty much the gold standard. They effectively treat aging and acne-prone skin by gently exfoliating the skin and sloughing away dead skin cells, sebum, and other congestion-causing impurities without causing severe irritation.

“I started using this product in lieu of going for my monthly chemical peel at my dermatologist. This product works very well to help keep my dark spots faded and maintain my smooth skin. There is some stinging with daily use, but this is relieved by using this product every other day,” one reviewer wrote.

Obagi Medical Retinol 1.0 CreamDown from $78

Obagi is one of my favorite skincare brands because they offer medical-grade treatments that truly work without the frills or fluffy marketing. The clinical-forward brand rarely gets marked down, so if you haven't tried their products, now's the time to get on it.

“By far, my favorite retinol product. I use this every night, and I've noticed a huge difference in the smoothness of my skin & fading fine lines. I've used this product for years; it's my go-to every night,” one reviewer said of the Retinol 1.0 Treatment.

SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ SerumDown from $295

Made by Allergan, the brand that owns cosmetic injectables Botox and Juvederm, it’s no wonder this growth-factor-infused anti-aging serum has such a loyal following. It’s definitely an investment item, but it’s 100 percent worth the splurge. It’s not part of the 20 percent off sale, but you can still score 10 percent off for a limited time—a very rare occasion.

“I started using TNS Serum about [fou]r years ago, then moved to the Advanced once it came out. This product is pricey but completely worth the hype. People kept telling me I looked “different,” thinking I had work done (in late ’50s). This, plus HA, SkinCeuticals CE, and Tretinoin have completely transformed my skin,” one reviewer wrote.
