In February, Dominique Ansel – named the World’s Best Pastry Chef by the World’s 50 Best Awards and the man behind the famous NYC ‘cronut’ - opened the Dominique Ansel Treehouse.
The bistro and bakery is spread over two-storeys in a treehouse design, with a cosy area located in the ‘treetop canopy’ on the upper floor where you can get cosy with your other half and tuck into everything from warm bread baskets, burrata and pillowy gnocchi.
The pièce de résistance, however, is undoubtedly its dessert menu, with a tiramisu that has a topping that literally spills out onto the plate and a chocolate mousse with bowls of toppings such as whipped cream, dark chocolate slabs, nuts and cherries.
This is our go-to romantic restaurant at the moment!
