You may have heard that Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld bathes in an entire bottle of a French skincare product a day, and now said skincare product is finally coming to the UK.

More than 60 years after the three-in-one product was created by a Parisian pharmacist, Collosol Eau De Lait will be coming to UK shores, and will be available to buy from 6 February.

The cult product has previously only been available to buy in France, with celebrities such as Clémence Poésy, Vanesa Paradis, Thandie Newton, and or course, the Chanel creative director said to be fans.

And it's not hard to see why this silky cream has already racked up a long waiting list of British customers desperate to get their hands on it.

In the consistency of a lightweight milk, Collosol Eau De Lait acts as a gentle make-up remover, face cleaner and moisturising body milk, without being tested on animals.

Speaking to Elle, Karl Lagerfeld revealed that he actually bathes in a full bottle of the product every single day.

'The maids pour it in crystal bottle, so I don’t have the plastic out, but for one bath, it is one full bottle,' he explained.

French actress Clémence also sings its praises, telling Vogue back in 2015: 'The one thing I always pick up in a French pharmacy is Collosol no rinse – it’s the miracle thing which is a brilliant make-up remover and toner, or you can put it in the bath.'

With just two more days until the cream goes on sale, we recommend getting your name on the waiting list now, with the cream going on sale at London pharmacy John Bell & Croyden and also online at The French Pharmacy.

While we don't recommend using a whole bottle in your daily bath, it is actually a beauty bargain at £10 for 100ml or £14.50 for 250ml.

If it's good enough for Karl, it's certainly good enough for us!
