Gooding & Company will be auctioning this rare 1955 Pegaso Z-102 Series II Berlinetta on August 30.

The interior has remained unrestored.

The car’s 3.2-liter V-8 makes 207 hp at 6,000 rpm.

The car’s 3.2-liter V-8 is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Chassis No. 167 is one of only 10 examples of the Pegaso Z-102 Series II Berlinetta built.

The most well-known examples of Pegaso’s Z-102 were designed by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan, who constructed 32 using its patented superleggera (“super light”) construction method.

Pegaso produced Spain’s “supercar” of the 1950s, the Z-102.

This fine example of Pegaso’s Z-102 carries a high-end estimate of about $1.047 million.
