As of today (April 12th 2021), gyms have re-opened across England as part of the latest lifting of COVID-19 restrictions. It's been a long road to get to this point, with hundreds of gyms, fitness centres and health clubs being forced to close their doors since January 5th 2021 and many of us getting to grips — again — with home workouts in the midst of winter.

Despite this, the outlook is more positive than the previous easing of restrictions, as the UK’s vaccination programme is expected to be completed by summer.
