Despite London being in the early stages of reopening, many small businesses are having a tough time right now. Pressures of high rent prices, staff salaries or covering costs to make businesses socially distance-friendly mean some are struggling, so it's important to show your support where you can. Now, as part of the Mayor of London's #LondonTogether campaign, the Pay It Forward scheme makes it even easier to help businesses in need.
The scheme allows customers to pre-pay for goods and services from small businesses to stay afloat during lockdown, including retail, food, hospitality and creative industries. Without this financial support, many of these independent businesses which make London into the vibrant city we love, won't survive the pandemic.
