Pride in London Parade is the culmination of a fortnight-long festival of performances and events celebrating LGBT+ culture.

Join the party as charities, professionals, religious groups and armed forces stand shoulder to shoulder in celebration and solidarity.

Be part of the one million who flock to the capital to enjoy the fabulous festivities.

This year’s festival theme is #nofilter and encourages people to live life as their true authentic self, no self censorship and no hiding.

The parade

The London Pride Parade is the biggest LGBT+ parade in the UK. 40,000 community representatives, dancers and performers will sashay their way through the streets of central London in this showcase of LGBT+ culture. Join the thousands of spectators who flock to the capital every year to enjoy the show.

The atmosphere

The Pride Parade is a fierce and fabulous affair of freedom and self expression. Wear what you like with no holds barred. It’s a friendly supportive atmosphere of love and acceptance. Talk to everyone, dance sing, make friends, get involved!

Pride in Trafalgar Square

From noon until 8pm on Saturday 25th, the main stage at Trafalgar Square will play host to vibrant performances, acrobatics, inspiring speeches and the finalists from Pride’s Got Talent.

Woman’s Stage, Dean St

At the Woman’s Stage Dean St you can catch comedy, poetry and singing.

Cabaret Stage, Wardour St

In neighbouring Wardour street the Cabaret stage will feature performances from Pride’s Got Talent winner and finalists, top acts and surprise guests.

Pride on the Underground

Busking with a difference. Performances by Pride’s Got Talent winner, finalists and runners up will take place in two London Underground stations on Saturday 25 June.

Soho Square Community Village

30 charities and community groups will have stalls set up in Soho Square. The atmosphere is quieter and calmer here and great for a bit of respite away from the busier areas of Soho.

Family Events

Soho’s Golden Square will provide a quieter space for families and other visitors. Entertainment includes singing, dancing and storytelling.

Pride in the Park picnic

Celebrations will continue through to Sunday with a free picnic at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens from 1pm to 10pm. The event will host a concert, cake-baking contest and dog show among other attractions.

The details

Look out for the green man pedestrian crossing lights at Trafalgar Square which will temporarily be replaced with LGBT symbols in honour of the celebrations. Around 50 lights will be replaced featuring same sex couples holding hands to form a heart shape and the transgender symbol among other designs.
