Though it might not feel like an active contribution to the Black Lives Matter movement, consciously outfitting your home with items from Black-owned interiors brands is a small act of anti-racism that signifies an investment into Black futures.
And not only that, it's an opportunity to discover some under-the-radar brands that will help add beauty and style to your home.
We’ve compiled a directory of Black-owned brands that focus on home decor— it's not exhaustive but will hopefully help you discover some brands you've never heard of that can be added to your go-to list when it comes to interiors.
From brightly coloured prints to unique crockery and handmade serving bowls, these are the brands — and the buys — your home shouldn't be without.
