The 10 best-dressed stars on the BAFTAs red carpet
The 2023 BAFTAs took place this evening in London, and brought some of Hollywood's biggest names to The Royal Festival Hall as they celebrated another brilliant year in film.
We were of course watching the red carpet closely, and there was much to marvel at. From beautiful structured ballgowns with lots of volume to a velvet mini dress, flowing sleeves, giant bows and enormous diamonds, there was plenty of fashion to enjoy as the likes of Cate Blanchett, Anya Taylor-Joy and Sheila Atim made their way to the ceremony on British film's big night.
Below, we round up our 10 favourite outfits from the 2023 BAFTAs. To see every single look from the red carpet, head here.

Hoyeon Jung in Louis Vuitton
Hoyeon Jung injected some serious glamour onto the BAFTA red carpet in a strapless, gold Louis Vuitton ballgown. She added a side-parted slicked-back ponytail, a bold red lip and a statement diamond choker.

Cate Blanchett in Maison Margiela
Always an advocate for recycling red-carpet fashion, Cate Blanchett rewore the Maison Margiela gown that she first chose for the BAFTAs back in 2015. Chic, elegant and timeless, she also added some Louis Vuitton pearls.

Sara Sampaio in Zuhair Murad
We love a big ballgown on the red carpet, and model Sara Sampaio certainly delivered this in her black, satin design by Zuhair Murad, which featured off-the-shoulder detail and a subtle cut-out.

Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton
When it comes to the red carpet, Cynthia Erivo never plays it safe, and she always nails it. For the 2023 BAFTAs, she opted for a bronze sequin gown by Louis Vuitton with an interesting shoulder detail and a long train.

Anya Taylor-Joy in Schiaparelli
Also a fan of pushing the style boundaries is Anya Taylor-Joy. Although a mini dress at an awards show will no doubt divide opinion, we love her structured, velvet Schiaparelli frock.

Sheila Atim in Prada
Sheila Atim and Prada are always a match made in heaven, and this was certainly the case for the BAFTAs. The actress wore a high-shine, strapless, silver gown by the fashion house, which she teamed with matching opera gloves and a chunky pearl choker.
